This summer, consider spending your hours alongside friendly co-workers greeting smiling faces, soaking in the salt air and taking in gorgeous scenery wherever you look. Each year, Recompence has a limited number of work-camping and seasonal employee positions. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. All positions open to work-camping exchange (credit towards seasonal camping rates).

Camp Store/Office Staff
Late May through mid-September
Part Time / Temporary

We are looking for cheerful, friendly people that have extensive customer service skills to welcome and provide superior service to our campers. Must have complete confidence in computer skills (experience with reservation systems a plus), and have cash register and sales experience. Mostly looking for positive personalities to work in a relaxed yet at times a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask. More important to work as a team member and jump in when there are tasks to be done.

Snack Shack Staff
June 28 - Sept. 2
Part Time / Temporary

Seeking outgoing, friendly people with a positive attitude and great customer service skills. Experience in food service and prep a must. Must be able to make pizza, scoop ice cream, and a grill, and also know how to use a cash register and make accurate change. Important that this person is able to work independently and know how to manage their time well. Multitasking capabilities are essential.

Outdoor Staff
May through September
Part Time / Temporary

We are looking for someone who is confident and takes pride in their work, is able to work independently and pays close attention to detail. This position includes maintaining the shower/bath houses, out houses and cabins. This is a position that needs someone who is organized and can manage their time well; and is enthusiastic and highly motivated.
